Samsung Electronics has promoted Mohammed Azzawe to marketing director – head of brand and media MENA following his two-and-a-half-year tenure as head of brand marketing & digital. His new role will entail executing successful Samsung marketing campaigns in the MENA region, leading and coaching multi-functional teams, innovation in the media delivery, and developing the team’s digital capabilities.
Azzawe’s previous experience includes managing multiple FMCG global billion-dollar brands across various local and regional assignments spanning Europe, India, the Middle East and Africa.
