Havas Group and SaaS provider Mirakl have announced a global partnership to strengthen its e-commerce and retail media.
The partnership will allow Havas Group’s clients to use Mirakl services to sell their products on Mirakl-powered marketplaces, while positioning the SaaS provider as a strategic partner to help Havas clients launch and grow their marketplace.
The second Campaign Saudi Briefing event of the year will be taking place in Riyadh on 12th October 2023. A variety of panels and speakers will be discussing the themes of media and marketing. For more details, click here.
Mirakl’s solutions will help brands manage and accelerate their e-commerce strategy on marketplaces.
In turn, Mirakl will be a “partner of choice” for Havas to help launch and grow marketplaces for its clients through a joint offer.
Mirakl allows enterprises and brands to manage their third-party marketplace and dropship business through its software.
“With Havas Market we’re committed to taking a holistic, customer-centric view of our clients’ businesses to find the best solutions to create meaningful shopping experiences for consumers and drive incremental revenue for brands across all sales channels.
“Enabling our clients’ retail transformation requires partnering with the leading providers in the industry, and with Mirakl we’re building a truly synergistic offering that will deliver growth for both our clients and our organisations,” said Yannick Bolloré, Chairman and CEO of Havas.
“B2B and B2C companies have no other choice but to further digitise their activities. Platform models such as marketplaces and dropship as well as retail media are among the strongest levers to generate new sources of growth and profitability.
“By joining forces with Havas, we will together accelerate the adoption of the platform models at a global scale for the benefits of consumers, operators and third-party sellers.
“The strength of the network and the expertise of Havas and Mirakl combined will create a global leader in Retail Media extending the value creation for our common customers,”said Philippe Corrot, Co-CEO and Co-Founder of Mirakl.
Building a retail media network
The partnership also aims to create an independent retail media network for brands and retailers, through both of the organisations’ clients and partners, by using Mirakl’s AI-powered specialised adtech for marketplaces and e-commerce.
According to Mirakl, retail media allows retailers to monetise the 97 per cent of website visitors that do not convert to sales.
Retail media are ads placed at the point of purchase or point of choice between two brands on physical and digital spaces.
The partnership will allow both parties to tap into retail media opportunities through the combination of Mirakl and Havas Market, the group’s full-service e-commerce offering.
Mirakl Ads, the ad solution in Mirakl’s suite, will allow retailers to monetise their audiences, and brands to optimise their digital advertising spend on e-commerce websites.
Companies will have access to Mirakl Ads in all formats – from banners to sponsored search – that have been designed to create engaging, enhanced experiences for customers.
