Estée Lauder Company has called a review of its EMEA media planning and buying account, currently handled by Dentsu.
Reported by Italian marketing news website Engage, the process is being handled by consultants R3 and it is unknown whether Dentsu will repitch for the account.

The agency network has handled all of the media planning and buying for the company since 2020, when it won the account from OMD. Prior to that, Dentsu Aegis Network’s Merkle handled some of Estée Lauder’s planning and buying from 2018 onward.
The company has periodically reviewed its media account, with the past three reviews for its media being in 2016, 2018, 2020, and now this year.
The company owns brands Estée Lauder, Aveda, Clinique, Mac Cosmetics, Tom Ford Beauty, and La Mer.
R3 and Dentsu declined to comment on the story.
Estée Lauder did not return Campaign UK’s requests for comment.
