Dubai Lynx has announced an on-site 24-hour competition for students, the Creative Student Hackathon. Taking place on October 26 and 27 at the Dubai Knowledge Park Conference Center, the competition will allow students, aged 18-25, the opportunity to prove their skills to future employees as well as earn industry-wide recognition by being awarded on stage at the 2023 Lynx Awards ceremony. The hackathon will be hosted in partnership with Dubai Media City, Dubai International Academic City, and Dubai Knowledge Park.
The rules for entry into the competition are as follows:
- All participants must be full-time students, currently enrolled in design, marketing, advertising, communications or relevant fields courses.
- The participants must be between the ages of 18-25 years
- The competition is open only to students whose universities are affiliated with Dubai Knowledge Park and Dubai International Academic City.
20 applicants will be shortlisted from all entries, on the basis of their application and will. be able to participate in the hackathon. The last date to apply is October 7, 2022.
