Bio

When I began my career at 20 as a Summer Resident with Mediabrands in New York, I was immediately drawn to the company’s striking vision and dynamic culture. What began as an internship while completing my bachelor’s degree at Columbia University, evolved into a full-time position that grew over the years. Recently, my experience has come full circle as I joined the Mediabrands office at home, in Dubai, as the Regional Strategy Manager on Unilever. I am eager to unravel the role of technology in marketing activations and bring my multicultural experiences to the Middle Eastern market.

Guiding principles

Teamwork makes the dream work! The key to building strong team relationships begins with openness and encouragement. I’m an advocate of using “we” & “team” as opposed to “I” & “me” in emails, meetings, and on calls. While “I” can create isolation, “we” promotes shared responsibility toward a collective goal.

How has Covid changed your job?

Working in an industry that thrives on networking, events, and human connection, Covid certainly changed a lot. For me, working from home presented a chance to reflect. I recognized the importance of family—as a result, pursuing an opportunity in Dubai: a place closer to my home (and my heart!).

Side hustle

Leveraging my “expertise” from years of devouring fashion magazines, I began professionally styling some of my friends and coworkers. Since I feel most inspired and confident when I look my best, I love making the people around me feel the same way.
