When I founded GlobMobi, I had no idea why I had that yearning passion for doing so, nor did I know where to start.
I knew one thing back then, I knew that I wanted our name on the top of the building in Dubai Media City one day, just like the giants who came before us.
After jumping out of the plane and building my parachute on the way down, I started on with GlobMobi. I realized my passion and creativity for helping people connect with others and helping them get their message across. Looking deeper, this passion originated from a rooted need to seek love & attention from those close to me.
Oh, did I say we need to leave the past behind? The thing is, I can’t deny that it paves our future in every way.
As a middle child, it was never that easy to get the attention I wanted or needed, nor was it easy for me to find my voice, speak my mind, and connect with my loved ones to share my thoughts and stories. Thus, I was really challenged to find the most effective words, at the right time making sure that my mindset was correct. As the years went by, I employed that hunger into a career where for the past 17 years, I have been working on providing media solutions for all different types of brands, partners, and individuals.
I was drawn to the whole world of media and communication; it was a dream come true to stand among those gigantic brands we grew up with.
I am still living my dream, and it has been the sweetest jump into the abyss I could ever have created.
Most great companies have started in the most unfamiliar places with a single value in mind, and GLOBMOBI is no exception to that. We’ve built a company with
- Having the courage always to do what’s right
- Appreciating others’ ideas & opinions and sharing our own
- Provide value to our partners
- Develop effective and efficient solutions
- Keep a balance between creativity and performance
- Never cut corners – complete integrity and transparency
- Celebrate failure and success equally.
- And most importantly, always do it with passion
At all costs, in every action of business.
To have fun, be happy, and believe that it is all possible and we can achieve it.
Driven by passion and guided by values I had the most incredible discovery of all times – MY SELF – during which I learned the true meaning of perseverance, humility, gratitude, courage, vulnerability, self-worth, and most of all, discipline. This revelation led to founding GLOBMOBI.
A digital media solutions company, came about as an expression of my craving for this art form of communication and to connect with the art. I believe you have to keep your eyes on the conversation. That’s where the magic takes place.
Keeping an eye on the conversation became our motto and our focus – and that is reflected in all the products and services we develop. For us, this is an essential part of any communication experience –
Communication is the act of transformation; conversation is the act of exchange.
For true value to occur, the exchange must take place.
While testing and learning during this journey, I am learning the skill of adapting to new changes, believing with all your heart, and trusting the process. I also learned that to survive business hustles, and competing markets you must love yourself beyond conviction and belief, and you must be humbled and gratified by that enough to share it with others today.
Three years into founding GLOBMOBI, it’s not only me who’s learning any more, we became a team. A team going through ups and downs together. A team learning how changing you changes your world, and learning how a vision can move a crowd
Take one idea, shape a vision for it, root it to your why, and fight for it till the rest if glory.
Then surround yourself with people who aid your growth, (spiritually, mentally, physically, and professionally), and don’t be afraid to cut the negative energy out of your life.
This principle came in handy growing the team, in learning how to separate (friendship and fellowship) from one end. Building a team is honorary whether with having someone believe in your vision or with getting to help someone shape the best version of themselves withing GLOBMOBI.
It takes a village to raise a child, and I believe that Media City has been my village. The most important lesson I learned is that a “thank you!” can do wonders. So, thank you to everyone and to the little universe that connected me to everyone who helped making it possible.
