In four short years, Emma has matured into an extremely well-rounded communications operator with vast experience managing public and private sector clients in a multitude of industries. Possessing an admirable work ethic and inert ability to self-identify solutions to pressing challenges, Emma’s ability to work independently and autonomously dovetails with admirable leadership qualities in managing juniors in her ever-expanding team. Altruistic, passionate and loyal, Emma is a true asset to the agency.

Bio

After starting my Communications career with Action Global Communications in 2017, I have progressed to an Account leading and supporting a broad range of clients – from local hospitality brands to international aviation accounts. Some of my proudest achievements include leading the communications for World Art Dubai 2020 (the first B2C event held in Dubai post lockdown); managing crisis communications during an airline’s global technical fault; leading DCT Abu Dhabi’s culinary arm, Abu Dhabi Culinary through its annual calendar of events – my first exposure to a wider spread of 360 marketing responsibilities; handling the pre-launch comms for the world’s longest zip line in Ras Al Khaimah, and many more.

Guiding principles

Working closely with my colleagues to build closer relationships and understanding of individual ways of working is hugely important to me. Recognising my colleague’s needs and how I can best help them is imperative to success, getting the best result, and of course, happiness in the workplace.

How has Covid changed your job?

As a people person who works best when I’m face-to-face with colleagues, it has undoubtedly been a challenge in adapting to the WFH environment. With a hybrid model of working from home and in-office in place, an even greater focus on communication within teams has been prevalent.

Side hustle

I’ve visited 114 cities across the globe and counting so the majority of my free time is spent either exploring new places, planning trips or just generally getting distracted with daydreams of jetting away.
