Annie started as an intern and now leads our intern programme, restructing and reshaping it annually to ensure fair success opportunities for all who apply, with an increased emphasis on DEI targeting.

Annie isn’t afraid to challenge the status quo, regardless of rank. I love her spirit, energy and enthusiasm.

Bio

Annie joined Jack Dubai as an intern in 2016 and has honed her skills in client relationship management, content creation, communications planning, creative strategy and business development for key projects/clients.

Working across diverse accounts including Expo 2020 Dubai, ENOC, Crown Prince Court Abu Dhabi, Tommy Jeans, Uber and Tecom Group.

Key in business development and pitch activity. Leading marcomms and brand for Jack MENAT.

Project highlights include curating and managing content across experience design and comms touchpoint mapping for Countdown to Zero: Defeating Disease – an immersive temporary exhibition in the UAE, commissioned by The Crown Prince Court Abu Dhabi.

How has Covid changed your job?

Covid has hit our industry hard – in my case, the biggest change has been shifting from live events to virtual and striving to capture the same level of engagement and interactivity with an audience through a screen, as you would experience during a live event.

Side hustle

I’m an event professional by day, party planner by night – not officially, but I love going OTT for all occasions; whether it’s a birthday party (I’ve had ‘clients’ as young as 1), a DIY paint night, or a standard after-work social, I’m ready to get stuck in!
