Abu Dhabi Media (ADM) has announced the launch of a brand new breakfast show on Radio 1.
For a completely new morning experience, listeners in the UAE can tune in to Radio 1, from 6-10 am on weekdays, to kick start the day with the dynamic trio Nugget, Naima and Chiara. They’ll bring the latest trending news, UAE updates and the chance to win BIG.
“Nugget’s cheeky playful character, combined with Naima’s sarcastic humour and real attitude, as well as Chiara’s infectious vibrant energy make Radio 1 Breakfast the only way to wake up. We are confident our listeners will enjoy it too. The refreshing new show reflects our commitment to cater to the unique needs of our audience and will help the station retain its number one position in the country, in line with ADM’s vision to lead the media landscape,” said Maha Amiri, head of Radio 1 station.
On Mondays from 3-4 pm, the station will also feature ‘Live from LA’ with Dean McCarthy, an Emmy Nominated presenter & Hollywood correspondent who will bring unprecedented access to Hollywood’s biggest A-List events, with on-ground and behind the scenes interviews with the stars. McCarthy will also make regular appearances on the Breakfast show as part of the showbiz feature called ‘The Fix’, on weekday mornings, at 7.40 am, 8.40 am and 9.40 am.
Relaunched in 2017, Radio 1’s instant connection with young listeners makes it one of the most engaging and exciting entertainment stations in the region. The station mixes popular western music with news on the latest trends and celebrities, as well as the UAE’s most exciting competitions and giveaways.
Listeners can tune into Radio 1 on 104.1 FM (Dubai) and 100.5 FM (Abu Dhabi), or through its digital platforms “Radio 1 UAE”.
