Karan Kukreja, general manager, OMD UAE: Hazar is a perfectionist at heart with a strong will to push boundaries and inject newness to everything she does. Her spirit is commendable and makes her a loveable personality to work with.

Career path

I started my career at OMD in 2015 managing the food and beverage social media accounts for Azadea Group and from 2017 to date I have been handling their fashion and accessories accounts. They have more than 15 retail brands spread across nine markets in the region, and I have been given the opportunity to lead on content and campaign strategies. The integration between disciplines has played a crucial role in my growth by understanding the planning and performance side of the business internally and by dealing with the franchisors of the brands globally to work on localising and customising our messages for this region.

Dream job

Become a jewellery designer and own a boutique.

Side hustle

I don’t have a side hustle now, yet I’ve always had a passion for accessories and jewellery and have been wanting to enrol myself into some classes to get started.
